This is Christmas!

He-loo,
Oh gosh so so so much has happened and I got carried away having fun and never got around to telling you!
Here we go - recap!

I've been living my university holidays to the max. At one point I hadn't slept at home or eaten dinner with my family for roughly a week. It's been go go go. I celebrated Christmas Eve at my friend's house and her brother made deliciously sinful green icy cocktails which went down so easy. A little too easy because I woke up Christmas morning very very tired and slightly hungover. Regardless, Christmas Day is my absolute favourite day of the year. Let me show you how I do Christmas:

It starts with waking up in the morning and finding your stocking. Over the years it has downsized from huge bags filled with gifts, to the cute red bag I found on my door handle this year.

It's still quality not quantity because this bad boy was stuffed with delicious novelties.

Edible things. Lots of edible things.
Is santa trying to make me fat?!

Mum Santa must have known what I got up to on Christmas Eve because this cute little shot glass lights up after you slam a drink down. Would have been handy the night before.

The feast is packed up and ready to travel!

Bread & brownies. Do I hear the sound of certain persons footsteps stampeding this way?

Last cuddle with Tia before we left her at home and drove to my aunty's for Christmas lunch. Tia got a big bone and a purple collar for Christmas. Not that you can see her collar under the mane...

My aunty's house was decorated gorgeously and the tree proudly displayed all those presents for me.

Cute candles and a table ready for a feast!

Appropriate decor.

Get in my belly. Oh god the pre-lunch snacks were mind blowing. So much food.

No really, get in me food. I see you there.

Finger lickin' good. It's already in his belly.

For meeeee? Of course! Finally it was present opening time.

My brother liked the shirts I picked out for him. Thank god.

I think my favourite present for Christmas this year was this! I had asked mum for something different, something fun I could do, so I got a puzzle! I've finished one with the help of my friends and are partway through another. So fun!

Yay summer dresses! I live in this now. Love a good short airy dress.

This is what my older brother got me, an Ipod running case. It's an arm band so I can get fit without having to clutch onto a sweaty Ipod.

A wallet. Yesss, this has been on my to do list for way too long. I use this endlessly now.

My grandparents actually chose really interesting presents this year (I normally get strange dolls and things). I had been craving a book to get stuck into for ages so this came along at the perfect time. Come at me 1000 pages.

More pretty dresses.

Another awesome choice by my grandparents. I don't own a watch that I regularly wear so this colourful happy watch is also permanently stuck to me now. I really do like it.

Fantastic! A new calender. This saves me the indecision when it comes to choosing a new one. Although I really would have liked another sexy men calender. HAHA.

See what I mean by my grandparents buy me strange things sometimes? Don't get me wrong, I totally totally love these wacky napkin holders but I'm fairly certain I'm the only person who would have that response to opening this. Just you wait for my next dinner party people. It came with an antique lobster sauce server.

Go mum and dad. You know the way to my heart. Booooooooze. Lemon booze. Can't wait to try it out.

The finale of my Christmas unwrapping was a huge stash of things my aunty collected and passed to me. She's a stylish lady so I love getting her handy downs.

So so much bling to hang on the bling hanger. My room feels like a shop now.

So that's my stash. Yes I got thoroughly spoilt. It rocks being the only girl.
I can't wait until next year but I'm rather upset my favourite day of the year has now passed.
Bring on Easter!

Melanie xx
