Perhaps more like obesity.
Doritos, Shape Sensations, Pringles, Candy Canes, Christmas Tree shaped marshmallows, strawberry and cream lollies and so so so much more.
I threw a Christmas Afternoon Tea/Dinner yesterday for the girls I went to high school with.
About 14 or so turned up and we had a monster meal.
(what was spring rolls and sausage rolls)
My brother sneaking some snacks from the party (he loves it when I throw a party for this reason!)
The delicious and festive 'frog in a pond' jelly cup.
Oh Santa baby ;) Have I got a present for you!
We all lounged about and talked for four hours!
Aren't my friends simply gorgeous?
It's time for more food. Pavlova nests with whipped cream and berries.
There was some steamy hand feeding action going on in the corner.
"Did someone say food!?"
We played a present exchanging game where we all bought a present worth $10 and then swapped them all about between us like musical chairs. It was a good laugh watching people's faces as the present they wanted was shuffled to the left and right.
"Please, feed me. I am a starving dog."
Tia's googly stare often got her what she wanted.
OM NOM NOM.
Before we left for Christmas on Ice, we had some photos in various locations of my backyard.
Pretty cute.
So let's go! Santa drove off with five other P plate cars following like his reindeer escort.
We got to the Ice world skate rink and turned quite a few heads.
It didn't matter because we were having the greatest time!
On a plus side, I went to buy a hot chocolate and the cafeteria lady simply passed it to me and said, "It's on the house". I spluttered in shock like, "What?!" and she simply told me, "She'd been told to give me it". AMAZING. Being bullied into wearing the costume totally had it's perks.
It was a really successful day surrounded by friends and food and I can't be any more thankful for my dear friends who came. Have a very very very merry Christmas everyone and try wearing a santa suit out! Who knows what will happen!?
Melanie xx
