Farwell thee friends

Hey hey readers!
It just so happens to be that time of the year when my family pack up the bags and hit the road. I'm off to Woodgate Beach again!

Now it may not look like a huge distance on the map, but four hours cramped beside two oversize brothers feels like the longest trip in the world. It's going to be a fantastic time, I'm going to swim, surf, dig, run, walk the dog and implement that fitness regime like I promised. There is internet available at the camping ground however I don't know if the prehistoric computer they provide could handle me updating my blog. I dearly hope so because I wanted to burn your eyes with bikini shots of my tan, fit self. Haha.

So this isn't just a blog about me leaving! I want to tell you about the cute gathering of girls I had on Tuesday. So there was about six of us and we spent over four hours lying on towels just discussing our lives and eating snacks. It was positively therapeutic and awesome.

Of course I cooked some brownies. Yum Yum.

They disappeared very fast. I'm looking at you Amy.

None for me. Sniffle.

For those of you who don't know what south bank looks like, here's a quick summary.

Gorgeous. Gorgeous. Yuck! Thoughtless people littering ruins the beauty.

So we lay around, living the life.

My friends played with my hair and it felt incredible. Do you love the feeling of people touching your hair? Now I just sound strange.

Rocking the rope hair.
The birds were a menace, as usual at Southbank. I had to chase away numerous Ibis, pigeons and crows.

One bird I didn't chase away was this freaky thing. I don't even know what sort of bird it is, but it sat near us the entire four hours and just chilled.

Look at the length of it's feet. Are you seeing what I'm seeing!? Are those it's knees or heels on the floor. Oh confusing bird anatomy.

My friend got hold of the camera and took some thrilling photos. She's really got an eye for it.

It really was a day full of sillyness. Especially me not wearing any sunscreen. Hellooo sunburn.
Until I post again, have a good holidays and stay cool friends!
