Day One - Woodgate

A very relaxed hello. 

This is your beloved writer checking in from her beach holiday. I'm already totally chilled.

I'd like to show you what my little slice of heaven is like. 

Whilst this isn't technically Day One, yesterday involved a 4-5 hour drive under cramped conditions. Don't make me re-live that experience! 

Without further ado, here are the highlights of Day One:

(Note: I will take a photo each day and at speed them up at the end to create a tanning transformation. I hope.)

We went for a big walk on the beach!

We saw other strange unexpected things on our walk too.

Kangaroos outnumber dogs lounging on front lawns.

Tia discovered a fresh looking starfish. 

MORE litter. Grr.

A fish Tia peed on. Her fish apparently. 

A dead Stoke's Seasnake (or so my brother says). Most likely chewed on by the hawks flying around. 

Some nasty blue bottle stingers! Luckily I haven't run into one of these boys in the water.

A sunburnt breasted man reading a boo- oh right. Hey bro.

Dinner.

That was most of the day! We also went swimming in the morning and I got my sexy tog tan started for summer. Woohoo! Tune in for Day Two coming soon.
