26th December: Quick Recap: Location: Easel, Melanie’s Room
Hey peeps, we’ll lately, due to extreme boredom and being cooped at home, I’ve taken up my painting again! Mmm, it’s a bit noobish right now, but I’m practicing.
For the Boys Christmas present, I painted them both a small canvas with their animal on it. Gaven got a pink sloth and Josie got a dog chasing a prawn :P Its rather cute really – haha.
Apart from those paintings, I started to paint my reflection one afternoon using the left over paint in my pallet, but of course, I got bored so I begun to ALIEN it up, adding phyco colours and whatnot. Haha, see for yourself.
Anyway, mum wasn’t too pleased, she was like, paint yourself properly rar rar rar. So im like, heck why not, so today I quickly slapped a pink base on a canvas and painted my outline in white. Gotta say I love painting myself more than other people , because I can’t yell at myself for moving position :P Anyway, the line work is basic enough, a little work needs to go into the eyes, because I moved and the eyebrows.
Mum says I look evil! YAY! Haha I realize this, so don’t fear, it will be amended. Im just not sure WHAT to do to it…Do I want to paint it realistic? With skin tones and whatnot, or do I perhaps like the negative look, and instead will shade it with whites and light pinks. Who knows, I might alienate this one too.
