Teen Thieves

10th February: Location - Park & Road

Good news, my Internet plan has been upgraded so it's likely that I shall post a blog of my newly renovated bathroom soon, instead of boring you with my many words. Unfortunately, here's a small update on my life, in words. Enjoy -

About four days ago, I became a criminal. (gasp) It all started when my brother and I embarked on our daily attempt to be fit children, and hopped on our bicycles to ride to the local park for 20minutes. We got to our favourite hill where we usually zoom down, but suddenly had to swerve to a halt and foolishly apply front brakes (Everyone knows using the front brakes is playing with fire).
"Are those. . .headphones?", my brother asks me.
"Hrmm, yeah they are, they look in pretty good nic too. Wierd", I reply.
"They must have fallen out of some body's pocket, maybe while they were riding their bike", he noted.
"True, lets go", I rode off trying to get a head start on my brother because I allways end up lagging behind (I'm not unfit, my bike's just too small for my legs!).

So we rode a circuit of the whole park at reality warping speed just to end up swerving to avoid a white tangle on the same patch of path. "They're still here!?", my brother speculated. "Well, if they're not picked up by the time our 20minutes is up, we'll take them", I justly and honourably told my brother ( Wow, look at the moral example sister).

So we literally rode the entire park 4 times and 20minutes later, after many people had walked past the same headphones, they still remained. Admittedly, I was a bit freaked out and let my brother pick them up first, expecting some PUNKD TV Show or a Channel 7 News Crew to burst out of the bushes and start filming, "Children and crime. Ten ways you can protect yourself from the Teen Thieves Revolution". It's a bit strange, they had no buds on the end so I guess a really lazy person might throw them out if they couldn't be bothered replacing them, but these headphones have cute little frogs on top of them. Why throw out / lose something so cool? Anyway, moral of the story is, I evidently don't have morals and after putting some new buds on them they work good as new. Anyone need some headphones?
