I owe you blog readers a limb and a half. Apparently, No wait, I actually haven't blogged in something over a month. Blarg whatever. There are two possible reasons for this, either my life is so mundane I have nothing of interest to show you or my life is so epic I have no time to sit down and tell you! I'm leaning toward the latter - I hope.
Without further ado, I would like to present to you: The Hat Story.
During the last week of Semester One, my school sends us students off to the far reaches of the globe to experience new things and broaden our experiences and interests. I got sent to Southbank Art Gallery and GOMA (oh so far), on the mission to better mature my artistic mind!
It just so happens that GOMA had a hat exhibition. I skipped all the learning, history of fashion stuff and ran to the actuall, MAKE A HAT section. The result is as follows. Warning: Parental Guidence recommended for young audiences. Mild to moderate impact viewing.
Not exactly a hat, but hey....I guess you could call that art? It certainly is a form of expression however what i'm trying to say could be interesting. My not so inner demon revealed! The funniest bit of this story is what happened AFTER the hat making.
Amy and I walked to the Southbank food courts and a few incidents occured. Firstly, I got a LOT of giggles from strangers, some rather rude comments but mostly amazement and shock on children. I made some kids day, 'Mummy look, a dragon!' Not quite kid.
I also scarred a grown man for life. He was walking with his head down and when he was only a foot away from me, he looked up and saw his inner demons take form. He literally clutched his hands to his chest and went, 'OMG'. I felt sorta bad after that but Amy was peeing her pants at the situation.
Taking advantage of the sheer hilarity, Amy dared me to walk through foodcourts full of teenage boys and I did so ever so foolishly brave. The amount of neck strain I must have caused people doing double takes and the subtle nudges and whispers to friends, 'What is that...What is she doing?'
Ahh~ it's good to be a fearless person, I cause the world so much joy with my stupidity. I love me.
That is all for the freaky demon mask, which is currently hanging proudly from my lamp post in my room. Sitting. Waiting, for future pranking in times yet to come.
