Holiday Motions

1st December - Mummy's Birthday: Location: Melanie's home & Sally's crib

Today was mum's birthday! Shout out to all our mum's, because we should tell them we love them more often than birthdays and mother day's.

Anyway, the tradition of card giving was continued and I made a nice little card with a compilation of different patterned blue pieces torn and pasted over one another to form waves and yellow paper pieces for sand.

The glue wasn't sticking the paper down, but it ended up adding to the effect, looking like waves, as the paper curled up. Mum ended up pulling at the paper, thinking it was deliberate and I had hidden messages in there! Haha, nice one mum.

So today I spent most of my morning entertaining my 2 and 1 year old neighbours. The two year old is a little boy, who'se just heading into the violent attention seeking phase - very difficult. However the little girl and boy are the sweetest things ever, and we played with the water toys, made pasta from scratch and read a middap nap story. Nothing beats getting a big cheesy smile from a one year old when they throw their arms up in the air, signalling they want a cuddle. NGAW.

Anywho, I'll be babysitting the little sweets tommorrow night (wish me luck!) after my big Bballing and Tae Kwondo day! Can't wait until Bbal, get to embarass myself and learn something new - BRING IT ON WOLRD. Not so excited for TKD, i got to learn how to do this forward roll...could be painful, lets pray i don't put my back out hey?

I' off the topic, so, seeing as it's mum's birthday, a special dinner was important, so we got fish and chips from fish kitchen. Good food - i do reccommend, their calamari isn't rubberry like most shops. It was lip smacking, and I'm just trying to find room for desert! Nothing beats birthdays, because we go out and splurge on a nice cheesecake.

Nothing says Happy Birthday like a good fatty, cheesy cake - because we don't want you to fade away!

Oh dear! I forgot, I rocked over to Sally's crib today to celebrate mum's birthday. At first, Sally wasn't home, so I helped babysit (yeah again :P Love kids) her cousin by bringing ALL MY BARBIE TOYS. Wow were talking, a good 3 years of little girl playing barbies, so there was a lot of dresses, dolls and fake food! Eventually after we created a huge bomb of a mess, we watched some supernatural, because i missed out on last night's episode! But DAMNIT, i had to leave because the STORM was rolling in (false alarm) and i only got to watch up until the guy's baby was GONE. Curse unanswered plots.

Alright, now I know i promised that video...but i haven't made it yet! I know you won't kill me because you love me too much :P No fear friends, I'll work on it now, whilst packing/organising Bbal stuff.

Enjoy your night,

Melanie xx
