Study Study on the brain.

Hello sweet dear reader! After my huge absence, I noticed a spike in blog views just after I updated the layout of the blog. How do you people know when I change something on here? Because of this new interest, I feel obliged to give you something to read, be it quality or not.

How about I recap the past century of my life which you've missed. Good idea.
I'll start from today and work backwards!

STUDY. ALL DAY, ALL NIGHT. Study until you go cross-eyed, then study some more.
In all honestly, I have truly studied the hardest I have ever before in my life, in these past few weeks. I have a crazy determination to excel at these exams which fluctuates between succumbing to my inevitable failure and fighting like a true battler.

Unfortunately, the choke-hold chemistry has around my throat is generally stronger than my grasp on it. Moving on from the depressing chemistry news, my biology knowledge is stronger than ever and I have a true interest in pursuing all things biologically cool! Genetically modified food, glowing food, manipulating flowering of plants. I love it!

Don't tell anyone else, but my brother and I sparked a genius plan bound to make us millionaires. Seedless mangoes. Shh! I just need to figure out how.

Not all my study is boring, after some solid progress, we reward ourselves with completely subject related pictionary battles.

Pokemon are animals, right

What else have I been up to aside from being a very studious little miss.
Well, not too long ago was my very very very long awaited (Two years!) martial art grading. The week leading up to the grading I was very nervous because nothing was working. My kick wouldn't break the wood, my self defense felt last minute and just overall rusty. Regardless, I flew into the grading day mostly winging it and somehow, SOMEHOW, got top points (Three were awarded to students who excel at grading) at my grading. Amazing achievement, sort of hard to believe really. A bit of a dream. Whilst I don't have photos of it, I do have a video I'll post up sometime soon.

Shortly after the grading was a special Korean Australia Celebration Day held at South bank at which my martial arts did a demonstration. I'd never participated in a demonstration of this size before and was pretty excited for it. Due to my grading going pretty well, I got chosen to do some demonstrations for the day which was both exciting and nerve wracking.
It went splendidly and apparently we put on quite a good show. Here's a shot.

Enough of your sporting and academic endeavors! Get to the juicy stuff! We haven't heard about your love life for months GEMMA!

about that. . .

It's been, fairly platonic. I mean, I've casually pursued a few handsome men without success. One I pondered whether I really wanted to delve into anything stringsy with him in particular, and the other, well just didn't take the bait. Ah well! When you weigh that up with my ongoing affections from the creepy stalker at university and seedy butt-grabbing guys at clubs, things are mediocre.

Not to worry. My stud muffin will strut along sometime soon and appreciate me for all my crazy crazy glory.

There's so many more things which have happened but I need to sleep to prepare for another full day of study tomorrow. Enjoy your reading little blog friends! I sacrificed a pinch of my time for you guys. Stay tuned.

P.S - Gemma did a typical Gemma again and dyed her hair dark brown. Like?
