The Circus De Spinogolei started out well. The jumping castle was there, my friends were there. We were all in costume!
As all good 18ths go, we started drinking! Shots for everyone.
This continued, the music pumped, people danced and people bounced! I eagerly accepted any offered drinks.
I delivered hot dogs in bags in a seedy manner.
And then some more.
Until the point where I was eating weiners and sobbing to myself.
As my drunkenness continued, I started to see the world as this strange strange place and was stunned and amazed.
It was my birthday and all my friends were here to party with me. Things started getting hectic. I apparently fell over, many many times. That explained all the unknown bruises I woke up with. My parents assigned me the role of food dishing out. I have no idea why they would assign the drunken 18 birthday girl this job, but they did.
I delivered hot dogs in bags in a seedy manner.
At one point I threw sausage rolls at party guests to entice them to eat. Go figure.
I wrestled a pinata.
and defeated it!
I was having so much fun. Next came the classic donut eating game. No hands allowed!
This game definitely beat me. I had chocolate icing all through my hair. It was so hard to brush it out before we went clubbing. So I sobered up a minute amount and managed to stand upright long enough to pose for some photos with friends.
Then it was cake brownie time. Everyone sang happy birthday and I did my embarrassed/happy to be alive smile. I delivered a fantastic speech thanking my parents, considering the level of my intoxication.
and THEN, the real fun begun!
The girls hit the town!
My first night out clubbing was so much fun. The boys, the music, the dancing!
It really was the best 18th birthday I could ever wish for. If only I could remember it.
