Reader! Don't hurt Gemma, just not yet. Give her two weeks because it's her big birthday party then! I just bought my costume online - check it out.
I'm sooooo excited for it to arrive. I had to get differrent tights because it doesn't include those in the purchase. But they're also cute so it's okay!
On a side note, I have the coolest story about my day. Let me set the scene.
As allways, when I walk to the train station I send my friends a cheery text. Today went along the lines of:
"Today I am going to cut the still beating heart from a comatose toad. What will you do today?"
I got mostly responses saying EWW. But I was seeing the future, predicting my fantastic day. Here's the good bit. I just so happened to have spent lunch with Jack and Ashleigh and felt like buying a hot chocolate. Serious craving!
So we went over there and I was like,
" Can I please have a large dark hot chocolate "
" Sure thing, would you like a free marsh bar with that? "
" What? A free mars bar?"
"No...a free marshmellow?"
"OH! Haha sorry I mis-heard you. Yes please"
(chuckles to friends about my failure)
So I was standing there waiting for the other lovely lady to hand me my drink and she's like:
"Hot chocolate?"
"Yes please"
"Here you go, sorry about the fasle advertising"
So she hands me my drink and snack size mars bar.
"WHAT!? OMG haha, no way! You totally don't have to do that. Aww you just made my day!"
I picked up my mars bar and squealed a little, showing Ashleigh who just laughed at the insanity of my life.
"Here you go"
The lady passes Ashleigh her drink as well as a mars bar.
"No way!!"
"Well, you can't give one to one of the friends and not be expected to give one to the other?"
"Awww THANK YOU"
So we walked off giggling about how wonderful life is sometimes. I may or may not be planning to mis-hear the word marshmellow again in the near future ;)
I want to blog more, give you a nice juicy story about the male action going on here, but believe it or not. I'm really really stressed about getting some university assesment knocked over, planning my birthday party and getting ready for my martial art grading. It's all happening the same time and It's just too crazy.
Raincheck the story. It'll still be juicy I promise.
P.S - I got a $10 tip at work the other day. How cool is that!
