Boots Heels and Katsudon

23rd May 2010: Boots, Heels & Katsudon: Location: Carindale, Melanie's Room
Yes, I realise I have already blogged today, however I'm making up for the lack of blogs that I can sense coming. How peculiliar, I sense they shall stop around the same time as exam block begins, funny that.
I wish to tell you about my very lucky formal shopping day today! My dearest mother, older bro and I journeyed to Carindale, in the hope of finding my formal shoes. We did so much better than that, it was an awesome shopping day and my stars must have all alligned, as everything I found was ideal!
Firstly, I bought my formal shoes and some new casual going out shoes! It was remarkably easy to find compared to last time we went shopping and regardless of their simplicity, they look good on and I like them. That's all that matters.
I think I bought the shoes purely for the bumper sticker they gave me with them. JOKES! Yes, as you can see there, my silver formal shoes co-ordinate with the bling on my dress nicely, as well as the new black booties!

Check that for matching skills, my headband ties in with the shoes and the dress. I really am looking forward to the formal, simply because it's so much fun dressing up and seeing all my friends looking like princesses. Also, we get to sit with our princes all night - don't forget that :]
You can see it's potential right? Haha, that's not how it's going to be, but it's pretty and simple. Just what I intended! Did I mention cheap? Yeah, low budget beauty FTW.
Now, I realise it probably looks bad if i'm more excited about my new booties than my formal shoes, but I can't lie. I adore my new booties!

No, they don't really have the bling on them, that is just my cheeky placement of my necklace for lolz. Pictures don't do them justice (in my opinion) but I do like how they look on. I still need to work out how to wear jeans with them, tuck them in or fold them? Hrmm, ask Sarah later.

I also purchased a new bracelet for myself! Its elastic (you wouldn't know it) and looks nice with casuals. Not to mention, goes okay with my necklace, an important factor in the decision! I also purchased some new, undergarments, however there are no pictures of them for you to peruse. (Oh I know you're disappointed - keep it in your pants)

Oh! At lunch today, I was overjoyed when I realised Carindale food courts are the ones that have the epic asian food shop, so I set out there when mum and Mike got sandwhiches. I ordered (on my own - booya) Pork Katsudon, Yum! Writing this now, I can almost conjure up the smell. Those tasty little onion bits and scrumptious pork. (licks lips)
After devouring my food with the help of monster Mike, I happily drunk the lime milkshake mum got me! Hooray, I missed lime milkshake, good goood stuff. However, the most heartstopping and guilt ridden event followed after I just finished my last drink of the sweet limeyness. I looked up as I finished and noticed a strange glowing shop sign in the middle of the food court.
Traitor.
Bitch!
Non-asian. (GASP)
I drunk a lime milkshake without realising there was an Ezyway shop! I think I actually got a lump in my throat when I said to mum:
'W-why did you buy me this, I didn't get Ezyway what have I done!'
They don't understand my anguish and turmoil. Haha! That is enough to talk about, otherwise I'll end up going into my emo dinner conversation which trust me, really does cause me anguish and turmoil. Stay tuned for more munchable Melanie melting moments! (now I'm hungry for a real melting moment bikkie)
Melanie xx
P.S I'm planning on giving my PC teacher the bumper sticker. If you don't get this, you're not an OLC student.
