Yup, so by now, you've realised I gotta thing for chickens. I don't know what it is, the soft feathers, leathery feet or the way they sorta run like a t-rex...I just developed an irrational love for them and their fluffy ways!
Anyway, I've been BEGGING mum to let me get chickens, or a fish or perhaps a bird. Well really, im just in this pet phase again, and mum's like, you have a DOG, enough!
However after a great debate, she concluded that....I could have two pet fish, if I achieved an Op 1.
Wow mum. Nice joke - haha.
So I guess i resigned with the sad lack of hope that I shall never own a chicken nor fish while living under their roof, however this was NOT TRUE, for mum brought me home a present the other day.
Of course, in her usual fashion, she said. Gemma, close your eyes and put out your hands.
So i do this of course, being the trustworthy child i am, and Ta-DA I MET GRACIE!
Mum purchased from Pillowtalk, a doorstop shaped like a chicken called Gracie! its the closest I'll get to a real chicken, isn't that neat? I love her like I love real chickens, but she's a bit insecure, so be nice to her (she can't lay eggs like the other chickens).
Here, take a goosy gander at our deep love for one another!

When we met for the first time. Her beady eyes locked onto my large googly eyes and it was true love.
We embraced, and it was the sweetest thing ever. Apart from my chocolate brownies.
And the final step. Like owner - like pet. We begun to resemble one another. We do look related don't we!Haha - the adventures of me and chickens. Priceless. Thanks!
