My god. If I could strangle all the stupid people who made the initially appealing downloadable video converters and makers, i would. THEY LIEEE.
To cut a long story short - i am rather peed off, because I have now attempted to initially convert the silly mov files my video camera takes into anything that is movie maker usable like an avi, with about...well maybe, SIX different programs.
So far, the final avi product is corrupted and won't work in movie maker. So than I took my other option: find a movie editing program that handles mov. Pretty simple you'd think ey. Well, it is, finding is easy, so much choice, and so much they say they give you. I downloaded this one in particular, which i do enjoy thoroughly, as it has very unique transitions, allows me to alter the colours in the video (HOW COOL IS THAT!) and tons of neat effects (like snow). However, as wonderful as this is - it slaps, a big, ugly, hunk of text as a watermark in the centre of my video because i haven't activated the program (that cost money man! Dont look at me like that).
So i have come to the conclusion - i am going to purchase a new movie editing program, which can take my stupid mov's and eat them up for tea. And poop out a deliciously beautiful video in the end, with sexy snow effect WITHOUT a watermark. I guess i'll buy it tommorrow with mum, as one of my christmas presents. Shoot me lord.
So you people have to WAIT. and be patient, because unless you want the ugly watermark version, i must go and buy a better one.
